General Meeting: May 27th, 6:00pm, at St. Anthony Falls Lab
Please join us Tuesday, May 27th at 6:00 P.M. for our next EWB - Minnesota Professionals Chapter meeting . It will be held at the Saint Anthony Fall Laboratory (SAFL) Auditorium.
The focus of May ' s meeting will be a presentation and brainstorming session by Ajay Gupta from Cummins' Power Generation Divisions. Mr. Gupta is leading a design team tasked with developing power solutions for developing countries, specifically East Africa. They have completed the first phase of the project and are in the process of expanding their scope to incorporate a wider range of technologies. They are hoping to tap into our experiences to help them create a sustainable and successful product that will greatly increase access to power throughout the developing world.
I am very excited about this presentation as it may lead to a partnership/project with Cummins and give us the opportunity to involve some of our members with mechanical and electrical backgrounds.
